POSITION DESCRIPTION

Assistant to Head, Global & Transactional Banking Division, to provide support in general administration work; draft memos and letters; prepare reports, training materials, checklists, and customer presentation materials; and arrange meetings for both internal and external customers to meet the business needs of Head Division.


DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Provide a range of administrative and support services to meet the business needs of the head of the division.
  • Support on general administration work (draft memos and letters; prepare reports, training materials, checklists, and customer presentation materials; and arrange meetings for both international and external customers);
  • Prepare a draft of business plans and a feasibility study of new products or projects related to the Global Transactional Banking Division.
  • Work with the finance or IT team to generate data, analyze data, and prepare a consolidated report for
  • Consolidate weekly and monthly sales call planning and sales reports of the Corporate Deposits Department team for the head division.
  • Gather and collate information for and prepare documentation and reports on business unit performance, as well as make recommendations to improve efficiency, cost management, and service delivery.
  • Conduct a review of the account application form and customer documentation during new onboarding and during account maintenance requests received from both new and existing clients.
  • Conduct a survey and keep up-to-date the corporate deposit products and interest rates.
  • Provide general assistance to the head of the division.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the head of the division and management.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in management, finance, and banking, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience in the banking sector preferred.
  • Good negotiation and internal & external relationship-building skills.
  • Strong customer service and result-oriented personality.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Good command of English proficiency, effective communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in administrative concepts.
