POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Senior IT Project Management Officer supports IT projects and represents IT to support the IT-related projects. He/she supports managing and coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex projects to achieve project outcomes and support the achievement of organizational objectives. The role have autonomy in coordinating and managing their work. He/she will assist the manager in the management, coordination, and contribution of the project.

DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Represent IT to work on the project deliverables by working closely with project stakeholders, both internal and external, to support IT-related projects.
  • Coordinate between IT and the designated Business Unit for project-related issues.
  • Liaising with project stakeholders and providing a regular report of the project status to ensure stakeholders are updated with the status.
  • Working on the project deliverables by working closely with project stakeholders, both internal and external units.
  • Assisting Manager in developing schedules and methods for measuring results.
  • Executing the project communication plan.
  • Coordinating all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion.
  • Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities.
  • Providing support for any project reporting to management.
  • Supporting and providing required info for any audit activities.
  • Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and standards set by regulators and the Bank and carry out duties with high integrity.

QUALIFICATION

  • University graduate, preferably with a major in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a project management role or relevant.
  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Understanding of banking products and services.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (English and Khmer).
  • Fluency in Chinese language is an added point.
  • Strong people skills.
  • Certification in Project Management such as PMP or PRINCE, is preferable.
  • Self-motivated and good problem-solving skills.
