POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position is assigned to ensure the branch/business of the bank is in compliance with Compliance Policies, Procedures, Guidelines, and NBC regulations on KYC & AML/CFT/CPF.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Assist Manager to manage the performance of the Compliance Management Team.
- Assist Manager to manage all alert cases that are related to customer transactions in AML system concluded within the timeline.
- Review and analyze all investigated post-transaction monitoring alert cases by Supervisor, Senior Officer and Officer level within the team in the AML/CFT system.
- Conduct an annual review on the rule/parameter and whitelist for transaction monitoring in the AML/CFT system.
- Assist in reviewing/updating the customer's risk profiling methodologies.
- Work with BU to perform annual/periodic KYC updates of customers.
- Assist Manager to maintain the relationship with NBC and respond to all requests and other ad hoc reports.
- Assist Manager to review/update compliance guidelines, policies and procedure manuals, etc.
- Provide AML/CFT consultation and comments to Business Units on new/enhanced products or services or other related projects.
- Assist Manager to prepare the KYC/AML & CFT training for relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare the AML/CFT Dashboard within the Compliance Management Team for the line manager to review. The report will include daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Attend internal and external training/meetings as assigned by Head of Compliance.
- Perform other assignments as assigned by Line Manager, Head of Compliance or Chief Risk Officer.
QUALIFICATION
- University Degree in Banking and Finance, Law, Business Administration or other equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in Banking or Financial Industry.
- Sound knowledge of Compliance, Law, Internal Control, AML/CFT, etc.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in an effective and efficient manner.
- Able to work under pressure with attention to detail and meeting the deadline.
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
- Good Computer literacy.
