JOB SUMMARY
The incumbent is responsible for performing business insights and analytics tasks.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Provide business / industry analysis on the industries within the existing portfolio for management consumption.
- Provide business / industry analysis on new business / industry segments that the bank plans to embark upon.
- Act as a business / industry expert consultant for business units.
- Identify emerging risks that will affect the bank's asset portfolio, especially in business / industry development.
- Identify a business / industry opportunity that the bank could embark upon to build a portfolio.
- Additional roles in credit reporting analysis and Environmental & Social (E&S) projects are part and parcel of this position.
- To perform other tasks required by Division Head / Chief Risk Officer.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in the major of Banking & Finance, Economic or a related major.
- At least 5 years of working experience in industry analytics / credit-related fields in a financial institution (environmental & social-related experience is desirable).
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent in MS Office (Word, Excel Spreadsheet, and PowerPoint) and e-mail.
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
- Ability to work independently and as a team in an effective/efficient manner.
- Ability to work under pressure and possess good time management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated and results-driven.
- Work with integrity, objectivity, commitment, accountability, and initiative.
