POSITION DESCRIPTION
Manager, Card Sales is responsible for driving sales growth, revenue generation, and market penetration of the bank's card products including credit cards, and debit cards. This role focuses on developing strategic sales plans, building strong client relationships, leading sales teams, and ensuring excellent customer experience for high-value customers and corporate partners.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve credit and debit card acquisition targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to refine sales plans.
- Identify new business opportunities, strategic partners, and growth channels.
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve high productivity and performance.
- Work efficiently with key stakeholders, branches, relationship managers, and corporate banking teams for cross-selling opportunities.
- Drive card issuance, activation, and usage across retail, SME, and corporate customer segments.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance to ensure KPIs are met.
- Prepare and submit regular sales performance reports to Head of Card Business.
- Other tasks are assigned by Department Head.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial role leading card sales or sales teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of financial products, especially card payment products.
- Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel for business development, client meetings, and promotional campaigns.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); additional Chinese language is a plus.
