POSITION DESCRIPTION
Operational risk is a financial position that banks and other finance-centered fields use to mitigate the risk when it comes to investing so as to offset financial losses.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Validate the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for all departments related to non-credit operations to identify the potential risk, control weakness, and give recommendations to mitigate significant risks to an acceptable level.
- Prepare KRI on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Review all processes, policies and guidelines, forms, and memos that are related to non-credit operations to ensure sufficient and effective control and compliance.
- Conduct Operational Risk Management Training for branches and departments on a yearly basis.
- Coordinate team members in validating Loss Event Data as submitted by Operational Risk Champions.
- Work to establish necessary policies/procedures to prevent/mitigate operational risks.
- Perform tasks assigned by Head of Operational Risk Management and Head of Risk Management Division.
- Code of Conduct: Must strictly adhere to the Bank's Code of Conduct, Guidelines, and Human Resources Policies and Procedures to ensure the professionalism of the Bank, take immediate action to stop and report to Superior, Senior Management and Internal Control of any violations or misconduct.
QUALIFICATION
- University Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in banking/financial services.
- Willing to work under pressure, overtime, and on multiple tasks.
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze data.
- High initiative, commitment, good communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel Spreadsheet, and PowerPoint) and email.
- Being good at English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Being able to manage a team and deliver a high-quality work result.
- Initiative and being able to develop team capacity.
- Ability to adapt to different and fast-moving environments.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks assigned.
