POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Officer, Corporate Merchant will support the acquisition and onboarding of organized merchants (OM) for digital banking products, including QR Pay, POS, WeChat, and E-Commerce Merchant, especially corporate merchants. The role will work closely with the Merchant Service Team and Digital Product Marketing Team to ensure smooth onboarding and activation of acquired merchants.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Assist in acquiring and onboarding organized merchants (OM) for digital banking products.
- Support identification of potential merchants that align with Canadia Bank app users, focusing on chain F&B stores and other regularly visited outlets, primarily in Phnom Penh.
- Support acquisition activities for Corporate POS, E-Commerce, KHQR, and WeChat merchants.
- Coordinate with the Merchant Service Team to process merchant registrations, product installation, and setup at stores/companies.
- Follow up on onboarding progress for QR Pay, POS, WeChat, and E-Commerce merchants.
- Work with the Digital Product Marketing Team to assist in merchant activation activities and campaigns.
- Maintain positive relationships with current and potential merchants to encourage continued cooperation.
- Provide basic feedback from merchants to relevant teams to help improve services.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Corporate Merchant Manager.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, marketing, or related).
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, merchant services, FMCG, telecom, or banking is preferred.
- Customer-focused with the ability to understand merchant needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
- Good command of English. Chinese is a plus.
- Acceptable office computing skills and PowerPoint presentation skills are a plus.
