Corporate Merchant Supervisor

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Supervisor, Corporate Merchant will be responsible for acquiring and onboarding the organized merchant (OM) for digital banking products, including QR Pay, POS, WeChat, Alipay, UPI QR, and e-commerce merchants, especially corporate merchants. S/he will work closely with the support team for onboarding the customers for e-commerce with digital product marketing for activating the acquired merchant.

DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Responsible for acquiring and onboarding organized merchants (OM) for Canadia Bank's digital banking solutions.
  • Identify and target key potential merchants that strategically align with the profile and preferences of Canadia Bank app users, with a primary focus on F&B chains, marts, supermarkets, hospitality businesses, and other high-frequency payment merchants mainly in Phnom Penh.
  • Lead and supervise the sales team to achieve acquisition targets for Corporate POS, e-commerce, KHQR, WeChat Pay, Alipay+, and UPI QR merchants.
  • Coordinate with the merchant service team to process new merchant registrations and ensure the installation of merchant solutions and POS systems at merchant locations.
  • Follow up and support the onboarding process for QR Pay, POS, WeChat Pay, Alipay+, UPI QR, and e-commerce merchants to ensure smooth activation.
  • Work closely with the Digital Product Marketing Team to activate newly acquired merchants and customers (post-acquisition) for QR, POS, and e-commerce solutions, and provide feedback or propose ideas for merchant activation campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key merchants and strategic partners to support long-term business growth and collaboration.
  • Support coordination with merchants for marketing campaigns, promotions, and partnership initiatives.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Manager, Corporate Merchant.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field with strong sales experience
  • At least 3-4 years' experience in handling key accounts for FMCG companies and/or corporate sales with the telecom or banking sector.
  • Customer focus with a proven ability to understand the merchant profile and present solutions that respond to their business needs.
  • Pleasant personality with good communication and PR skills.
  • Be accountable and able to work under pressure.
  • Good command of English. Chinese is a plus.
  • Acceptable office computing skill: PowerPoint presentation skills are a plus.
