POSITION DESCRIPTION
The role is responsible for strategy and innavation development across Canadia Bank's digital touchpoints, leads the development of making recommendations for changes and providing digital solutions for Canadia LOBs. The successful Head, Project Management isresponsible for identifying and analyzing industry trends, defining competitive positioning, leveraging new technologies, and working closely with business lines and product teams to create strategies that increase digital engagement and meet or exceed member needs and goals.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Canadia Bank's Competencies,compliance, regulatory and Information Protection requirements.
- Manage the development and implementation of new digital services and delivery channels.
- Monitor digital product/service delivery channel utilization and performance. Recommend changes, enhancements, or elimination of services and channels.
- Analyzemarket trends for our digital product and services as well as digital productand services occurring in the marketplace.
- Develop internal communication strategies and educational content to lead CanadiaBank's digital strategies. Act as a thought partner for Canadia Bank's lines of business owners to develop integrated offerings within client-facing experiences.
- Innovate using new technologies, processes, and vendors.
- Lead the ongoing integration of financial activities, including strategy, planning, forecasting, and business analysis, to drive digital initiatives.
- Create an annual operating plan and budget for supporting lines of business that includes utilization and growth. Responsible for managing internal and external expenditures within budget
- Define and create digital strategies and roadmaps, managing digital solutions through their lifecycle
- Manage key vendor relationships, including contract renewals and negotiations.
- Develop, maintain, and leverage understanding of economic, regulatory, social, cultural, and competitive developments as they affect lines of businessin order to identify potential threats and opportunities for Canadia Group business.
- Collaborate with internal partners (Business, Customer Service, Marketing, Digital, Branch Management and Technology to develop digital solutions that support our clients and employees.
- Direct product priorities for assigned channels and/or business lines across channels.
- Work with relevant businesses to identify ways to continually improve clients experiences.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent work or educational experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in product and/ or channel management role in a financial institution, digital or retail, or digital agency environment.
- Minimum 2years of people management / leadership experience is required.
- Ability to be self-motivated and develop a strong knowledge of the company's products, services, policies, procedures, and culture.
- Ability to provide business and competitive analytics.
- Ability to establish facts and draw valid conclusions as well as formulate ideas and recommendations.
- Ability to successfully define and launch solutions.
- Effective cross-functional team leadership, relationship building, influence, and negotiation skills.
- Experience creating and delivering presentations to executive-level audiences.
- Experience building strategic roadmaps, project plans, and managing project budgets.
