POSITION DESCRIPTION
The investment banking officer will support the execution of corporate finance and capital market transactions, including equity and debt fundraising, as well as advisory mandates. The role involves financial analysis, preparation of client deliverables, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure efficient transaction execution and high-quality client service.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Support execution of corporate finance transactions, including IPOs, bond issuances, and private placements.
- Conduct industry research, financial analysis, and business valuation.
- Prepare pitch deck, investment proposals, and marketing materials for clients.
- Assist in due diligence processes, including data collection, verification, and coordination with clients and advisors.
- Build and maintain financial models to support transaction structuring and decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal teams (research, compliance, legal) and external parties (clients, regulators, auditors).
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and capital market activities.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor and management to support deal execution.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related fields.
- Open to fresh graduates with strong academic performance and relevant internship experience, as well as candidates with 1-3 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial analysis.
- Basic understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and capital markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (financial modeling and presentation skills are an advantage).
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset.
- Progress toward or completion of CFA Level I is a plus.
