POSITION DESCRIPTION
To approach credit facilities/understand the price and collateral property of the customer, and develop a new loan pipeline by cross-selling bank products & services.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Develop new loans with prospective clients, as well as retain existing business and additional bank products and services for current and new clients.
- Manage the assigned loan portfolio in conformance with the Credit Policy and Procedure.
- Compiles and analyzes data for loan applications and requests.
- Evaluate financial and organizational structure and other matters on which the company may have information.
- Understand the fundamental price and location of collateral and other property.
- Enthusiastically participate in and support all bank sales and marketing programs intended to build customer base and enhance customer retention.
- Interviews customers/prospects to develop information concerning their business needs, financial condition, and performance to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk.
- Outlines loan terms and conditions and informs the borrowers of loan commitments.
- Make recommendations to Head of Strategic Corporate Loan Portfolio regarding terms and conditions of loan packages.
- Help to check and correct all loan proposals that are done by Strategic Corporate Loan Portfolio Officer before they are submitted to Head of Department.
- Help to supervise all strategic corporate loan portfolio officers on behalf of Head Department.
- Provides reports on the status of loans in process. Prepare loan renewals and report on possible loan delinquencies, as well as follow up for all required information per the loan covenants.
- Handles customer complaints, consultation, and solutions.
- Cooperate effectively with other departments and branches, especially the loan product department, credit department, and operations department.
- Control and monitor the weekly/monthly reports and administrative department work, which is done by strategic corporate loan portfolio officers.
- Do the administrative departments.
- Other tasks assigned by Direct Manager/Top management.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree/master's degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent in a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience in banking, especially in lending, credit analysis, and related fields.
- Good understanding about fundamental loan pricing, legal aspects, business environments, NBC and government policies and regulations.
- Good understanding about the fundamental price and location of collateral and other properties.
- Good understanding of fundamental business analysis and trends.
- Good communication and lending/credit problem solving.
- Very good knowledge of speaking and writing English and Chinese is more favorable.
- Understanding the Loan System.
- Be able to travel around Phnom Penh and Provinces.
- High commitment work under pressure.
- Trustworthiness is a must.
