JOB SUMMARY
Officer, Server and Data Center, helps in managing phases of servers and data centers as assigned by Sr. Manager, Server Infrastructure. He or she will also be involved as the IT representative for data centers, servers, email, phone systems, call centers, and other system requests initiated by users. He or she will also assist in providing IT general support (administration) to team members within the IT Services Division and ensuring that daily office operations are performed in a seamless and efficient manner.
This role is reporting to the Sr. Manager, Server Infrastructure, and will be responsible for daily activities to resolve problems, maintain the server's availability in the data center, and work with the team to ensure that service objectives are met and troubleshoot technical issues to meet standard operation to make sure all server systems in the data center can operate 24/7.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Receiving requests from users and other IT teams for support and review for management approval.
- Approaching and researching suppliers for procurement and processes.
- Responsible for acquiring, supervising, and managing all servers and data center enhancements and solutions.
- Maintain and support the data center and data recovery site.
- Maintain all UPS systems, both DC and DR.
- Maintain all cooling systems, both DC and DR.
- Supporting IT servers, data centers, and data recovery sites.
- Supporting IT servers and data centers in developing an IT server and data center plan to ensure on-time delivery of IT support and solutions.
- Supporting and incorporating into the day-to-day performance of the server and data center teams.
- Providing support for any project reporting to management.
- Supporting and providing the required information for any audit activities.
- Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and standards set by regulators and the bank, and carry out duties with high integrity.
- Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures, and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate, and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work.
QUALIFICATION
- University graduate, preferably majoring in electrical engineering-related subjects or equivalent, or preferably, over 1 year's experience in IT in sectors.
- Bachelor Degree or technical institute degree or certificate in electrical engineering, information systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of Windows clients and servers.
- Knowledge of the data center and data recovery site.
- Knowledge of security systems (fire suppression, water detection, monitoring).
- Knowledge of VolP, the PABX system, and Microsoft Outlook setup.
- Basic network TCP/IP configuration.
- Basic strong people skills.
- Self-motivated and has good problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (in English and Khmer).
