Senior Consumer Credit Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The position is responsible for credit review on loan applications from business units before extending to a higher level for decision. The incumbent shall assist the credit manager in monitoring credit performance, including credit quality and control. 

DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Assign the application to the credit analyst under their own assigned team with a proper assessment of each workload and capacity to avoid prolonging decision turnaround time and ensuring the fairness and practical assignment to every credit analyst.
  • Reassess and review the loan application submitted by the assigned credit analyst team to ensure the requirements are fulfilled and sound for decision-making.
  • Provide a comment as well as a recommendation for every review loan before extending to a higher level for further decision.
  • Proper and construction feedback to the under supervision team in any circumstance that requires to improve the team productivity and quality as an individual and the group.
  • Directly communicate with the business unit and proposer for the necessary information to support their request if it is required.
  • Assist and cover the daily operational as well as credit review in case the Consumer Credit Manager is absent or any circumstance may require.
  • Keeping track of the quality and productivity of credit analysts under their own supervision and quickly reporting to a higher supervisor in the event finding potential fraud, suspicious activity, or a hint of fraud collaboration by any subordinators under their supervision.
  • Join a visit and/or mission with a credit analyst for a site visit, subject to having the consent of a higher supervisor. 
  • Other assigned tasks by senior management. 

QUALIFICATION

  • A bachelor degree in banking and finance, economics, or business administration is required. 
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a credit analyst/loan officer or relevant fields. 
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Good speaking and writing in English.
  • Good in computer MS Word and Excel.
  • Highly motivated, committed, and good communication.
  • Willing to work under pressure and overtime.
