POSITION DESCRIPTION
Manager, CCTV and Access Control Security is responsible for overseeing the entire security ecosystem, including CCTV surveillance, access control systems, and associated security protocols.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Ensure optimal placement and configuration of security cameras to achieve comprehensive coverage of critical areas.
- Analyze security risks associated with unauthorized access and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with other security personnel and departments to ensure a comprehensive security posture for the organization.
- Oversee the configuration and programming of access control systems, managing user access levels and permissions.
- Implement strategies to leverage video analytics for enhanced security monitoring and incident detection.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of security protocols across the organization.
- Conduct security awareness training sessions for staff on proper access control practices and CCTV protocol.
- Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders regarding security threats, system vulnerabilities, and mitigation efforts.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures related to CCTV use, access control systems, and physical security measures.
- Develop and implement video surveillance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Define and assign access levels for personnel based on their roles and security clearances.
- Conduct periodic security audits of the video surveillance and access control systems to identify and address weaknesses.
- Prepare reports and presentations on security incidents and system performance.
- Manage and lead the team, providing direction and ensuring efficient and effective work practices.
- Managing subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
- Providing support for any projects and reporting to the head of IT Operations.
- Supporting and providing required info for any audit and compliance activities.
- Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and standards set by regulators and the bank, and carry out duties with high integrity.
- Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures, and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate, and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (experience can substitute for a degree in some cases).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security operations, with a focus on video surveillance and access control systems.
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining video surveillance equipment and VMS software.
- In-depth knowledge of access control systems, including electronic locks and access credential technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of CCTV technology, including camera types, video recording systems, and network video recorders (NVRs).
- Strong understanding of access control systems, including different control methods (key cards, biometrics) and access control software.
- Experience with security policy development and implementation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate security incidents effectively.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and risk management principles.
- Keen attention to detail and exceptional observational skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in PC operation and common security software applications.
- Experience with project management methodologies(e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
