POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Manager, Corporate Merchant will be responsible for driving the growth of the company's corporate merchant business by promoting a diverse portfolio of digital payment products and services to potential merchants. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategic sales initiatives, secure key partnerships and deals, and ensure seamless merchant operations.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Promote the company's digital payment product portfolio, including POS Terminal, e-Commerce, Payment Gateway, WeChat/AliPay, QR Pay, and Bill Payment Services, to potential merchants. Work closely with Merchant Relationship Managers to support their efforts in respective customer channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product marketing, product development, merchant service, card services, and e-banking, to align on business objectives and initiatives.
- Identify and secure key deals and partnerships with external merchants and business partners to drive revenue growth.
- Oversee the execution of sales special projects and initiatives to achieve targeted goals.
- Facilitate seamless merchant operations and documentation to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Develop and implement strategic sales and merchant growth plans to expand the company's corporate merchant network.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product and sales strategies.
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the overall merchant business by providing insights, recommendations, and process improvements.
QUALIFICATION
- At least a bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience.
- Proven track record of handling key accounts in the digital business, banking, and other relevant industries.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to secure profitable deals with external partners and merchants.
- Demonstrates a dynamic, data-driven, and aggressive approach to achieving sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Possesses a pleasant personality with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly adaptable to digital technologies and driven to stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations.
