POSITION DESCRIPTION
This role is responsible for managing the collection of outstanding loans and ensuring timely recovery of payments from loan customers. This role involves communicating with customers, negotiating repayment plans, and collaborating with other departments to address issues affecting collections.
DUTY &RESPONSIBILITY
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of delinquent loans and accounts.
- Analyze accounts to identify trends and develop strategies for improving recovery rates.
- Site visit for finding resolutions or negotiations with NPL customers who are late repayment to pay normally, pay off, restructure, pay partial, reschedule and any agreement as well as possible.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to loan customers during the recovery process.
- Recommend taking legal action, booking provision, or taking any measures for NPF cases that are non-negotiable, with no contact or running away.
- Record and update regularly delinquent customers' status for any action or management's need.
- Prepare a credit proposal (pay off, restructure, normalize, pay partial, take legal action, book provision...) for the Credit Committee for making decisions.
- Assist in training junior staff and sharing best practices for effective loan recovery.
- Perform other duties as assigned by BM or senior management.
- Code of Conduct: Must strictly adhere to the Bank's Code of Conduct and, as also stipulated in the Human Resource Policy and Procedure, take immediate action to stop and report to senior management and Internal Control any violations or other misconduct.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking, Business or related fields.
- At least 2 years' experience in collections, loan recovery, or related fields.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to loan recovery.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Good computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
- Good English, both writing and speaking.
- Be able to travel to provinces.
