POSITION DESCRIPTION

The primary objective of this role is to provide emergency care to staff in the event of accidents, or occupational illness or sickness during working hours; monitoring first aid and infirmary management; also, to promote safety and healthy working environment. An Occupational Health Manager may need to standby for providing consultation and recommendation to whatever problem the employee might face.

DUTY &RESPONSIBILITY

  • Provide emergency care to staff in the event of accidents, or occupational illness or sickness during working hours: Check blood pressures and temperatures of staff, identify medical history for employee suffering from medical condition, counsel the employees if they are not in good mood to work, provide treatment and nursing for minor illness and injury in workplace.
  • Monitoring first Aid for both Head Office and all Canadia Branches: Making a list of basic medicines and first aid equipment and request to purchase for medical instrument when required, make sure all the first aid boxes are stored the medicines properly, prepare and control first aid budget for Head Office and Branches.
  • Infirmary Management: Maintain the inventory of the medicines and other medical equipment required in the infirmary, ensure there are enough facilities for patient, maintain sanitation and comfortable environment in infirmary.
  • Collaboration with another hospitals/panel clinic: In case the patient's condition is not good, nurse has to call for an ambulance to get the patient to the hospital, coordinate with patient to hospital for emergency case, advise staff for reliable hospital(s) for specific treatment.
  • Promote Safety and Healthy Working environment: Promote and maintain hygiene and welfare working place, update health news or share health information to staffs, assess the safety standard in the bank and prevent hazardous conditions for employee, provide safety lessons in the workplace for all employees.
  • Team Management: Supervise the Occupational Health Officer to provide satisfactory medical service, establish hygiene and healthy environment through guidelines and policies.
  • Other Tasks: To support on theCovid-19 cases, verify on contact tracing, give advice for the treatment and proceed other necessary preventive measures as required, visit staff who got inpatient treatment, work closely with part-time doctor to maintain welfare working environment, be able to produce the operational reports in a monthly basis and when needed, provide emergency care in Bank events such as annual workshop, team building program, etc.
  • Other any tasks will be assigned from time to time by Direct Line Manager.

QUALIFICATION

  • Experience in occupational health.
  • Well-understanding of occupational health profession, and be able to provide proper consultation.
  • Good communication, team work, and attention to details.
  • Good computer literacy (Ms. Office), Internet, and Email.
  • Good in English speaking and writing.
