POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Senior IT Risk Officer is responsible for understanding, identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting on technology-related risks within the bank. This role involves working closely with various teams, including IT, IT Security, Compliance, and Business Units, to ensure that risks are effectively managed and aligned with the bank's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Develop IT Risk Policy/ Procedure/ or Framework to manage IT-related risks.`
  • Conduct risk assessments for identifying, assessing, tracking risks, and risk mitigation.
  • Review IT risk related process and assessment for the Bank.
  • Monitor, investigate, and report IT risk incidents and make sure the root cause is identified and reported.
  • Support the Bank to manage and reduce all relevant risk factors, such as the risk of a system failure, cyber risk or loss of data.
  • Help the Bank to comply with standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NBC TRMG, PCI DSS).
  • Frequent prepare risk reports, maintain IT risk registers, and provide insights for Head of IT Risk Management on emerging IT risks.
  • Perform other tasks provided by Head of IT Risk Management.
  • Code of Conduct: Must strictly adhere to the Bank's Code of Conduct, Guidelines and Human Resources Policies and Procedures to ensure the professionalism of the Bank, take immediate action to stop and report to Superior, Senior Management and Internal Control any violations or misconducts.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in IT Risk, IT Audit, Cybersecurity, or IT within banking industry.  
  • Willingness to work under pressure, overtime, and multitask.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze data.
  • Strong initiative, commitment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and email.
  • Strong English language skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability to manage teams and deliver high-quality work.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
  • Certified in professional risk or security management, such as Security+, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or relevant certifications.
