POSITION DESCRIPTION
Carry out day-to-day processing of trade transactions with both internal and external customers and enhance business projects and procedures.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
- Review and authorize all trade product transactions/documents in accordance with the policy and procedure and applicable compliance requirements.
- Review SWIFT messages before delivering to Head, Trade Business.
- Lead and develop the trade operations team by providing clear direction, fostering professional growth, and implementing succession planning.
- Ensure that requisite post-transaction follow-up activities are performed in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with internal departments to maintain smooth operations.
- Advisory to clients regarding trade services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on relevant ICC rules and publications.
- Provide applicable coaching to supervisors/senior officers/officers on relevant ICC rules.
- Prepare periodic reports for internal and NBC requirements.
- Assist in developing/reviewing trade projects/trade processes and procedures.
- Perform other tasks and project work at the assignment of Head, Trade Business.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in a major of banking, finance, business, or an equivalent in a related field.
- At least 4 years of working experience in trade operations or trade finance.
- Possess knowledge of ICC rules and publications.
- Proven team player with excellent organizational and management skills.
- Very good knowledge of speaking and writing English, Khmer, and Chinese is more advantageous.
- High attention to details and can work on multi-tasks.
- Be proactive, open-minded, smart-working, and self-disciplined.
- Be able to work independently, under pressure, as a team.
- Be objective, accountable, and honest.
