POSITION DESCRIPTION
A web application officer is a professional who is responsible for the development, design, and construction of web application systems and ensures that system applications meet user and business requirements.
DUTY &RESPONSIBILITY
- Performing the coding assignments in web application fields
- Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
- Developing content, criteria, function, backend, and frontend interfaces, or another task that is assigned by the team leader.
- Testing routines and process flow to ensure that they meet requirements and correct all browser and device types.
- Editing, writing, or uploading the website’s content followed by the team leader assigned.
- Maintaining an understanding of the latest web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
- Able to install and configure any services on a server that are related to web applications.
- Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
- Any related task assigned by the team leader.
- Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and standards set by regulators and the bank, and carry out duties with high integrity.
- Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures, and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate, and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work.

QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or relevant experience.
- Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and other related web application frontend frameworks.
- Proficient in PHP, NodeJS, and another related web application’s backend framework.
- Proficient in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or any database-related.
- Dedicated team player.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid ability in both written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.
- Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
- Able to solve complex problems.
